CricketOne and FoodMap secures SG$10,000 crowdfunding after 3 days

Cricket snack REC REC - the brand created by two leading foodtechs in Viet Nam, CricketOne and FoodMap, has successfully raised US$7,524.46 through crowdfunding. This is a strong head start, marking the collaboration of start-ups.

After three days on the Indiegogo platform in five different countries, REC REC was able to raise SG$10,000 from individual investors, including the most demanding markets such as the US, Singapore, Australia and Taiwan. This is an outstanding performance for both Cricket One and FoodMap.

In the collaboration, CricketOne is mainly in charge of production and packaging while FoodMap is in charge of MarComm and sales.

Dried cricket snack REC REC has an original flavour and gorgeous spices, promising an enjoyable experience for customers. Right after its launch, REC REC quickly received an 80 per cent positive feedback from users.

REC REC dried cricket snack has three flavours: Wasabi, Salted Egg and Cheese. REC REC is currently selling at Farmers Market stores and ecommerce platforms such as FoodMap.asia, Lazada, Shopee.

CricketOne is the leading large-scale cricket farming company in Viet Nam and Asia.
