Several brands of milk, confectionery, beverages, cosmetics, household appliances and other essential products simultaneously are offering discounts at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets nation-wide to promote the production and consumption of environmentally-friendly products.
This is one of the activities under the Green Consumer Month held annually at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra in June.
From now until June 25 Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets will slash prices of products made by companies that strictly comply with environment protection regulations.
For instance, Vinamilk Organic fresh milk that has no growth hormones, antibiotics or plant protection residues is discounted by more than 10 per cent; Safeguard hand wash is not only discounted but also comes with a gift; most REAH toothbrushes and toothpaste are discounted; Hazeline shower cream has prices cut and comes attached with a gift of a glass water bottle; and a 180ml tube of Pantene conditioner cream is also discounted.
The price of Omo matic detergent for top loading washing machines is discounted by 22 per cent and those of some Comfort fabric softeners by 19 per cent. Others Comfort softeners offer both discount and a gift of a high-quality plastic box.
Discounts and attached gifts are also offered on Glade scented candles and Sunlight dish washing liquid.
Asiavina high-quality fans are discounted by over VND140,000 each, Daewoo hair dryers by 43 per cent, Supor rice cookers by nearly VND270,000, Kangaroo rice cookers by 36 per cent, Lock&Lock water bottles by 43 per cent, and environmentally-friendly plastic bags by 30 per cent.
Novelty shirts woven from bamboo, despite high demand, are discounted by VND160,000 each.
Co.opmart and Co.opXtra will also gift four to seven times the normal bonus points on customers’ loyalty/VIP cards when they buy major brands of liquid detergents, fabric softeners, coffees, biscuits, and other products from Unilever, Trung Nguyên, Vietnamcacao, Oreo, LU, and others. — VNS
