Saigon Co.op’s supermarkets have stockpiled nearly 20 tonnes of six kinds of specialties for the Lunar New Year: Canh orange, Dien pomelo, Yen The chicken, Ca Mau dried shrimp with whole shell, red pomelo, and Ngoc Linh ginseng.

They are currently available at more than 100 Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets across the country.

The products, specialties from various regions and localities, are distributed throughout the supermarket systems to enable consumers everywhere to easily buy specialties from other regions.

This year for Tet Saigon Co.op has adopted a number of modern technologies to offer more convenience to shoppers.

Instead of going to the supermarket, consumers can order online at or via its mobile application.

This is especially suitable for housewives who are busy with work and do not have much time to cook but still want to celebrate the Lunar New Year in a traditional manner. — VNS
