Co.opmart slashes prices of meat pastes, sweets, New Year decorative items

Decorative items for the New Year sold at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets have also entered the big discount season.

Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarket chains nationwide are continuing to make deep cuts to the prices of confectionery, meat pastes and decorative items for Tet (Lunar New Year).

Notably, the highly popular Co.op Organic products have for the first time seen their prices discounted by up to 30 per cent.

Vissan’s brand, which are sold at Co.opmart, Co.opXtra and Co.op Food supermarkets, are offering the biggest discounts this time. For instance, the prices of shrimp and Mai Que Lo sausage have been slashed to VND90,900 for a pack of 500g and VND185,000 for a pack of one kilogramme of special kind.

Meat pastes, beef pastes, lean pork pastes, Co.opmart private label sausages have also been heavily discounted as are sour shrimp, pickles, pickled scallion heads, and other ready-to-eat foods.

Along with the food items, decorative items for the New Year sold at Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets have also entered the big discount season.

All kinds of dishes, vases, white glass trays decorated with textures for putting sweets, multi-layered high-quality plastic boxes for keeping sugar-coated fruits, decorative lanyards, red envelopes, plastic flowers, plastics fruits like orange, papaya, custard, dragon fruit, and grapefruit are being discounted by 30-50 per cent.

From February 3 to 15 for the first time Co.op Organic brand ecological shrimp and organic basa fish are being sold at a discount of 30 per cent.

This year Co.opmart supermarket is selling around 70 kinds of nuts and sugar-coated fruits for Tet, including melon seeds, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sugar-coated coconut, sugar-coated ginger, water chestnut, lotus seed, sweet potato, crunchy peanut and sesame candy, tomato and other products.
