Saigon Co.op opened a Co.opmart supermarket outlet in Da Nang’s Son Tra District on Sunday, the second store in the city and 111th in the country.

Situated in the Da Nang Seafood Services Industrial Zone on Binh Than Street, Co.opmart Son Tra has a business area of 3,000sq.m and cost VND45 billion (US$1.94 million).

It sells more than 30,000 items, including fresh and processed foods, cosmetics, clothes and utensils, 90 per cent of which are high-quality Vietnamese products.

The store will provide people in the city, and especially the district, with one more place to buy goods with clear origin, good quality and reasonable prices, especially for the upcoming Tet (Lunar New year) holiday.

To mark its opening, the new outlet has launched promotions until February 10, including discounts of up to 50 per cent on thousands of essential items and hundreds of attractive gifts to shoppers.

Besides, customers with bills of VND300,000 and more can win attractive lucky-draw prizes like a Honda SHMode scooter, LG fridge, Samsung TV, stainless steel cookware sets and others. — VNS
