Saigon Co.op's retail system will gift more than one million premium kitchen products made by a Dutch brand to customers with membership cards of all levels who shop at Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Co.op Smile, HTVCo.op, Cheers, and Finelife across the country between November 19 this year and April 7 next year under the Accumulating Stamps to Exchange for Gifts programme.

When shopping, customers will get free stamps to exchange for gifts later and at the same time have reward points added to their cards as usual.

This is Saigon Co.op’s largest exclusive accumulating points to exchange for gifts programme in 2020.

This year's gift is a unique RoyalVKB black knife set that Saigon Co-op has imported exclusively from the Netherlands. The product is not available for sale currently in the Viet Nam market.

It consists of seven items: a santoku knife, a chef knife, a cleaver, a slicing knife, a pair of multi-function scissors, anti-bacterial cutting board, and a multi-fibre knife holder. All are covered with a non-stick coating in elegant matte black from the blade tip to the handle to prevent food from sticking when cutting.

The handle is also equipped with finger protection edges and embossments to help prevent hands from slipping when using them.

Under the programme, customers get a stamp for every VND200,000 (US$8.6) they spend.

They can exchange the stamps for each item in the set or for the full set, and, depending on the number of stamps they accumulate, can also pay a small amount of money on top of their stamps to buy the gift.

In addition to traditional paper stamps, the programme this year also offers electronic stamps via the Saigon Co.op app downloadable from App Store and Google Play.

Customers just need to log into the app and activate the "tich tem" feature to use the step counting function to exchange their steps for gifts, give stamps to others and can receive reward stamps.

Saigon Co.op is the first and only consumer goods retailer in Viet Nam to invest heavily in a programme to accumulate stamps to exchange for gifts, offering significantly more benefits to consumers.

Since 2017 it is estimated that Saigon Co-op has gifted nearly four million exclusive high-end imported products to consumers nation-wide, making Vietnamese kitchens more luxurious and convenient and offering joy to Vietnamese housewives entering the kitchen.

The gifts can be redeemed until April 21, 2021.

Detailed information about the programme is available at the supermarkets. — VNS
