HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — As part of their "
10 ngay giam gia het ga" (10 days of offering maximum discounts) promotion, Co.opmart and Co.opXtra supermarkets have cut prices of Tet-related products like confectionary, sweets, Chinese-style sausages, fruits and vegetables, and eggs sharply to almost cost.
In rotation, until February 7 (the last day of lunar 2015) they will offer 15-20 per cent discounts on fresh food items like bitter melon, duck eggs, tomato, watermelon, and others.
The price of a 500gm pack of Co.opmart Chinese-style shrimp sausage has been reduced to just VND102,900.
A 395gm tin of Lucky Co.opmart butter biscuits is down from VND89,800 to VND73,900.

There are steep discounts of 30 to 50 per cent on household utensils such as cooking pots, pans, irons, and home cleaning sets, in addition to which the supermarkets are selling a wide range of products at pretty low prices.
Co.opmart supermarkets have announced their Tet working schedule in HCM City.
From now until Tet, they will open for an additional two to four hours daily to enable customers to conveniently shop for Tet.
On February 7 the supermarkets will open from 6am to noon. They close for only one day on February 8 (New Year's Day) and resume normal operations on February 9. — VNS
