South Korea’s CJ Group on Friday inaugurated its new animal feed manufacturing plant in northern Ha Nam province’s Duy Tien District.
Capitalised at VND561 billion (about US$25 million), the 75,000-square metre plant has an estimated production capacity of 300,000 tonnes of products each year.
"CJ Group is committed to maximising investment to achieve the Great CJ 2020 target for medium and long term plans with revenues reaching $100 billion globally. And Viet Nam is our bright spot to achieve that goal," Chang Bok Sang, Chairman of CJ Group in Viet Nam said.
Viet Nam is considered as CJ Group’s most strategic investment destination, said Lee Tae Ki, General Director of Biological Resource Business of CJ CheilJedang - the group’s largest subsidiary.
"We will do our best to bring the best products and services by continuously transferring technology and scientic research from Korea to actively contribute to the development of Viet Nam’s livestock industry and its animal feed sector as well," he said. — VNS
