Chinese paint maker comes to Viet Nam

Chinese paint company 3Trees on Thursday opened a representative office in HCM City.

The company said developing its business in Viet Nam is part of its plans to expand globally and become one of the top 10 companies in the world.

It is already among the top 50 global paint companies.

Nguyen Thi Thu Van, general director of 3Trees Vietnam, said all paints would be imported and the company is researching paints that can be used in Viet Nam and other places in Southeast Asia where the climate is tropical.

In the next five years the company aims to become the top paint brand in the country, she said.

3Trees, established in 2002, has a plant in Jiuhua, China, and 15,000 points of sales around the whole world. — VNS
