Canon has recently announced the launch of the PowerShot ZOOM, a pocket-sized digital monocular camera.
The new camera, Canon said, is designed for those who want to get closer to activities such as sports, live performances or wildlife watching.
The PowerShot ZOOM’s light and compact design makes it useful in a wide variety of situations.
“Designed to be lightweight and portable, users can easily store the Canon PowerShot ZOOM in their pocket. Despite its size, the PowerShot ZOOM is equipped with autofocus and image stabilisation, which gives users a clearer view. The PowerShot ZOOM’s optical zoom and image stabilisation ensures photos and videos are sharp, and they can instantly share these moments with others on social media,” said Satoru Takeda, general director of Canon Marketing Vietnam.
Regardless of whether users are out birdwatching or catching a soccer match, toggling between 100mm, 400mm and 800mm with a few button presses ensure users never lose sight of the action. They can also capture those fleeting moments in the form of 12-megapixels still images or Full HD videos with a touch of the button.
PowerShot ZOOM will be available in the Vietnamese market in April with an estimated price of VND9 million. — VNS
