HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Residents and visitors of central Da Nang City will enjoy a lantern festival called "brilliant Asia" in Asia Park from September 9 to September 15.
According to Sungroup, investor of the park, the festival will be decorated in a carnival atmosphere, and will feature a lion dance, and a lantern parade mascot representing 10 countries in Asia.
Ten mascots represent the bold national culture of each country will be made into lanterns of up to two meters in height of particular zones.
The buffalo represents the rice civilisation of Cambodia, dragon represents Chinese culture, parrot represents Indonesia, tiger Alee Chandra for India, and the Tabo Maiko cat for Japan, in addition to the moon bear for Korea, a pair of cows for Nepal, m-lion for Singapore and elephant for Thailand respectively.
Also sharing the rice civilisation of Cambodia, a pair of golden buffalo lanterns presenting Vietnamese culture, will be placed at the entrance.
Coming to the festival, the guests also enjoy dance and art performances. Entrance ticket prices were VND200,000 for adults, VND150,000 for children from 1m to 1.3m tall, while it is free for children under 1m. — VNS
