Bosch Rexroth, the drive and control division of German company Bosch, showcased its latest technologies at the Factory Automation Technology Day organised in HCM City on Thursday.
Nearly 100 customers, dealers and businesses learnt about and experienced new automation technologies including the ActiveCockpit plant floor visualisation system, the VarioFlow plus plastic chain conveyor system, an IoT Gateway, Open Core Engineering, that shows visitors how to gain practical benefits from connectivity in their manufacturing systems.
At the event, Bosch Rexroth also launched its new brand identity for the first time.
With its new image, it hopes to underscore its successful transformation into a provider of solutions for the digital production world.
Tran Anh Thu, senior marketing and communication of the company, said since 2016 Bosch Rexroth has been undergoing a far-reaching transformation that extends from internal structures to its business strategy.
As part of its growth strategy, the company is committed to technological differentiation, leveraging synergies in the market and within the Bosch Group and topics of the future, she said.
It is thus positioning itself as a provider of industry 4.0 solutions for the factory of the future, she added. — VNS
