HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Big C supermarket chain and Unilever Viet Nam are handing out gifts to 3,100 poor people to help them celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday.
Gifts with a total value of VND620 million (US$29,107) will be given to disadvantaged people in localities where Big C has outlets, including HCM City, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Da Lat, Nha Trang, Ha Noi, Viet Tri, Bac Giang and Hai Duong.
Each package has rice, cooking oil, seasoning, fish sauce, confectionary, detergent, and cosmetic products.
This is the seventh year that Big C and Unilever have contributed gifts to the poor during Tet.— VNS
