HA NOI (Biz Hub) — BIDV MetLife—a joint venture (JV) between Vietnam's leading bank BIDV and U.S. life insurer MetLife—have launched Gia An Toan Mt (EduCare), an innovative child education savings insurance product.
The programme was launched in Viet Nam yesterday and is part of MetLife's regional EduCare platform that provides innovative education financial solutions in Asia.
In addition to being the first of its kind in the market, Educare is also the most comprehensive child development and educational savings plan focused on providing a well-rounded approach to the development of children from birth to university graduation.
EduCare is the country's first structured, educational savings products that allows Vietnamese parents to plan their child's educational future every step of the way from birth to university graduation, and make university tuition payments that match an insured child's needs and school entrance date.
Underlying insurance protection ensures that the child's university education remains funded in any unfortunate event of a parent's disability or mortality. — VNS
