Franck Rodriguez, a veteran hotelier with more than 26 years of experience in the hospitality industry, has been appointed as area general manager of Banyan Tree Group’s two flagship resorts in the central province of Thừa Thiên-Huế.

In his new role, Franck will oversee the luxurious all-pool-villa Banyan Tree Lăng Cô and the five-star family-friendly Angsana Lăng Cô.

Over the past two decades, Franck has gained valuable experience in hotel and resort operations with many well-known hotel companies, from Marriott International and IHG to Minor Hotels.

In the early 2000s, Franck moved to Singapore and his next moves took him to various destinations in Asia, including Thailand, China, Indonesia, and Việt Nam.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue my journey in Việt Nam with Banyan Tree Group and to lead the genuinely enthusiastic and dynamic team in Lăng Cô Bay. Together, we will continue to deliver exceptional services and life-changing travel experiences, drive sustainable efforts, develop our associates, and create value for the local community and its people,” said Franck.

Banyan Tree Lăng Cô and Angsana Lăng Cô are located a short 55-minute scenic drive from the Đà Nẵng and Phú Bài international airports, connecting guests with Việt Nam’s finest UNESCO World Heritage Sites and eco-tourism destinations, including Bạch Mã National Park and Cù Lao Chàm Marine Park.

The resorts commemorated their tenth anniversary with many prestigious awards and recognitions this year. Banyan Tree Lăng Cô was recognised as the best luxury hotel in Việt Nam with a near-perfect score of 19.7/20 given by anonymous MICHELIN inspectors. Earlier this year, TripAdvisor reviewers recognised Angsana Lăng Cô as one of the best family-friendly resorts in the world. — VNS
