HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Bangkok Airways on July 12 received the Skytrax awards for "World's Best Regional Airline 2016" and "World's Best Regional Airline 2016" at a ceremony held on the sidelines of the 2016 Farnborough International Airshow in London.

Capt. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, president of the carrier, said: "As a Thai national carrier, we are extremely delighted and proud to have received the awards which truly reflect the higher level of service and safety standard of Bangkok Airways.

Bangkok Airways has previously won Skytrax's "World's Best Regional Airline" and "Best Regional Airline in Asia" awards in 2014 and has been in the top five in the World's Best Regional Airline and Best Regional Airline – Asia categories.
