Consultant Anywhere, a consultation app, is one of the Vietnamese technology platforms that have been selected to support small and medium-sized enterprises with digital transformation by the Ministry of Information and Communications.
The app connects experts in various fields with businesses, the first of its kind in Viet Nam.
It enables consulting via smartphone with easy scheduling facilities, online payment and record-keeping with a video-call feature.
Enterprises can provide feedback and rate experts transparently on the app.
Nguyen Thanh Son, chairman of the MVV Group, the app’s developer and investor, said: “Assisting the Ministry of Information and Communications with helping SMEs achieve digital transformation is an important task.
“We understand the cost, time and effort constraints that Vietnamese SMEs have in accessing strategic advice for operating and growing their business, and we believe a platform like Consultant Anywhere will be an optimal tool to simplify these challenges.”
According to the General Statistics Office, SMEs account for more than 95 per cent of the total number of companies and account for around 47 per cent of GDP.
Some 79 per cent of SMEs are still in the start-up stage but are expected to grow rapidly, contributing US$30 billion to GDP by 2024. — VNS
