Anker, a leader in mobile charging technology, has announced a sales target of VND250 billion (US$11 million) in 2021.

It said on Tuesday that to achieve the goal it would open offices in HCM City and Ha Noi and enter the security and projector market.

It already has a number of assembly lines in Viet Nam and wil continue to develop its Soundcore and Eufy brands, it said.

It would launch new products, it said.

On Tuesday the company unveiled a wall charger that can charge new iPhones up to three times faster than a stock charger.

The Anker Powerport III Nano is the slimmest and lightest in its new line of portable chargers. It has one single USB-C port capable of dispensing up to 20W of power with its proprietary PowerIQ3.0 technology, which can charge the new iPhone 12 to 50 per cent in 30 minutes.

"Vietnamese customers know exactly what they want when it comes to accessorising their mobile devices," Romeo Luo, Anker Innovations’ sales director for Southeast Asia, said.

"This is why competition is tough in Viet Nam and why we've put a huge effort to bring only the best of our Anker Innovations products to this country."

The PowerPort III Nano will be available at FPT Shop and CellphoneS starting at VND400,000 ($17).

The first 200 customers who pre-order the iPhone12 will get a free PowerPort III Nano and a special offer of 50 per cent discount. — VNS
