HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — A leading global paints and coatings company AkzoNobel unveiled copper-orange as the 2015 colour of the year reflecting a more positive global outlook.

The colour of the year reflects and complements all the major trends that have been identified for 2015 - such as warmth in attitude and a renewed emphasis on sharing; the natural palette of the earth, from clay tones to sunlit highlights of yellow; skin tones that reflect human interaction and the sepia hues of the past.

Once a year AkzoNobel's Global Aesthetic Centre meets a group of independent international creative experts from colour, design, architecture, and fashion backgrounds who discuss how trends and colour palettes will develop and evolve over the coming year.

Representing a broad cross-section of the world, these experts discuss what they think the most important influences are, and how they think people will be living in a year's time. — VNS
