After its successful Accumulating Stamps to Exchange for Gift promotion last year, Saigon Co.op has launch a similar programme but on a larger scale this year to enable customers to get gifts of Vivo kitchen knife sets imported from Germany.

The set consists of seven items: scissors, fruit knife, slicing knife, chef knife, Santoku knife, cleaver, and knife sharpener all made of stainless steel.

Under the programme, customers get a stamp for every VND200,000 (US$8.7) they spend.

They can exchange the stamps for each item in the set or for the full set.

Besides submitting the stamps, customers have to pay a small amount of money on top to get the gifts.

For instance, to get the scissors, which has the lowest value among the seven items, VND400,000, customers need 25 stamps and have to pay VND15,000.

For the cleaver worth nearly VNĐ1.2 million, they need 70 stamps and have to pay VND80,000.

None of the products are sold in Viet Nam.

To take part in the programme customers need to have a Co.opmart membership card.

The promotion will also be run at all Saigon Co.op retail systems such as Co.opmart, Co.opXtra, Co.op Food, Co.op Smile, HTVCo.op, and Cheers convenience stores.

The programme will run until October 17.

In addition to traditional paper stamps, the programme this year also offers electronic stamps via the “Tich tem” app downloadable from App Store and Google Play. — VNS
