Korean conglomerate SK Group will organise the Final Demo Day for its SK Startup Fellowship Programme on November 10, with 12 top start-ups showcasing their products and pitching their businesses to venture capitalists, investors, enterprises, and industry experts.
The 12 were selected from hundreds of applications after going through six months of intensive acceleration activities, including mentoring by industry experts and Việt Nam’s top businesspeople, financial training, a fundraising workshop, and networking sessions with SKSF’s partners.
The jury will pick the top four for a non-equity grant worth US$50,000 each. The remaining eight will each receive $16,000.
By the end of the six-month training programme, some of the startups reportedly showed significant growth.
Bizzi, for instance, signed a deal with the HCM City Young Business Association for strategic access to a large potential customer pool, while Fundiin and VUIHOC successfully raised six-figure amounts from regional and local investors despite the difficult economic situation.
BenKon, Selex Motors, Hi-tech Care Technology JSC, Realbox, Selly, SoBanHang, Cypher AI, CyberPurify, and N2TP all made significant progress in key areas such as revenue growth, new product launch, human resources, and organisational development.
At the SKSF Demo Day, Louis Nguyễn, CEO and founder of Saigon Asset Management, will deliver an opening keynote.
