HA NOI (Biz Hub) ― The number of bank cards in circulation nationwide reached 62.93 million at the end of the third quarter, rising 4.62 per cent from the previous period, according to the State Bank of Viet Nam.
Domestic cards reached 57.23 million, up 4.26 per cent, and international cards hit 5.7 million, increasing 8.36 per cent.
With the country's population at 90 million, the growing use of bank cards to pay for goods and services indicates their convenience is being recognised. ― VNS
