HA NOI (Biz Hub) — National carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) launched its Ha Noi-London flights on April 1.
The first flight departed from Ha Noi for London's Heathrow airport on the same day.
Heathrow airport, instead of Gatwick airport, will be connected with the country's largest airports of Tan Son Nhat in HCM City and Noi Bai in Ha Noi.
Heathrow Airport's Chief Executive Officer John Holland-Kaye said the airport was the only one connecting all territories of the United Kingdom with other markets worldwide. VNA's participation will contribute towards expanding the connection between the United Kingdom and Viet Nam's growing economy.
