HA NOI (Biz Hub)— The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines began using the new eastern terminal of central Tuy Hoa Airport on Tuesday.

Between August 20-31, the Vietnam Airlines branch in the city collaborated with the airport to arrange their staff at the old terminal to offer guidance to passengers.

Using 68-seat ATR 72 aircraft, the airline now provides 12 flights to Tuy Hoa City per week with five from Ha Noi and seven from HCM City.

The opening of the new terminal is expected to help meet increasing demand for travel to Phu Yen, which welcomed 500,000 tourists last year.—VNS
