HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Real estate developer Vingroup launched the construction of Vinhomes Riverside Eco-Urban area in the northern Hai Phong City on March 4.

Vinhome Riverside Hai Phong is one of the key projects of Vingroup this year. It covers 78.5ha in a peninsula in Hong Bang District, and is enclosed by the Cua Cam and Thuong Ly rivers and the city's key roads.

The project, designed by American firm Humphrey & Partners Architects, will have villas, shops and a five-star 45-storey centre, will be completed by 2020. It's expected to become a tourist, shopping and entertainment centre, helping to boost the socio-economic development of the city and its neighbouring areas.

The project will also have a park, swimming pools, club houses and Vinschool.

With a US$1-billion ecological complex on Vu Yen Island and Le Thanh Tong – Hai Phong Plaza Vincom trade centre, which have become operational, and the ongoing Vinmex international hospital in Hai Phong City, Deputy Chairman of Vingroup Nguyen Viet Quang said Vinhomes Riverside Hai Phong was a new project of the group to develop luxury real estate in large cities and provinces nationwide. — VNS
