National carrier Vietnam Airlines on Wednesday officially launched a route connecting Thanh Hoa province and and Buon Ma Thuat City of Tay Nguyen (Central Highland) Province of Dak Lak.

Vietnam Airlines received 141 passengers on the first flight from Buon Ma Thuot to Thanh Hoa which landed at Tho Xuan Airport at 10am. The return flight took off on the same day at 11am.

Thanh Hoa – Buon Ma Thuat flight route is operated with the frequency of three round trips per week, on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

This is the second route of Vietnam Airlines to Thanh Hoa Province and fifth to Buon Ma Thuot.

Thanh Hoa is a northern central coastal province which is rich in tourism potential with destinations like Sam Son and Hai Hoa beaches, Phu Luong Nature Reserve, Cam Luong Spring and Citadel of the Ho Dynasty.

Buon Ma Thuot is attractive to tourists because of is majestic moutainous scenary typical of the Central Highlands region.

The flight route is expected to promote exchanges between two provinces as well as the two regions.

To ensure safety, Viet Nam Airlines conducted disinfectant spraying on its entire fleet and checked passenger health at the airport in accordance with the regulations of the Civil Aviation Administration of Viet Nam. — VNS
