Vietnam Airlines and its member budget carrier Jetstar Pacific will supply 134,000 additional seats during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday from January 20 to February 19.

Vietnam Airlines and its member budget carrier Jetstar Pacific will supply 134,000 additional seats during the Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday from January 20 to February 19.

Vietnam Airlines said it would add 54,000 seats, equivalent to nearly 230 flights, on domestic routes; meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific will add more than 80,000 seats.

The two airlines will focus on additional flights from Ha Noi to HCM City and Phu Quoc and from HCM City to Da Nang, Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Hue, Quang Nam, Quy Nhon and Da Lat.

During peak times, Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific recommend passengers buy tickets on the official website, or from agents and ticket offices, and ask for invoices to ensure that they are not buying fake tickets or paying an inflated price.

In order to save time, passengers should check in via the website, mobile application or check-in kiosk at Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat and Da Nang international airports. — VNS
