DA NANG (BizHub) — Budget airline VietJetAir signed an estimated US$800 million agreement to purchase new aero-engines from a joint venture between GE (General Electric) & Snecma on Monday, the airline confirmed yesterday.
The engines will be installed on Airbus A320/321 CEO aircraft, which are part of an earlier order of 100 airplanes signed between VietJetAir and Airbus in September 2013.
