The five-day expo witnesses the participation of 450 exhibitors from 18 countries and territories, including South Korea, Japan, Singapore, mainland China, Taiwan, the UK, Australia, the US, India and Germany.
A wide range of new products are being showcased at nearly 1,700 pavilions, such as construction materials, electric equipment and doors, exterior-interior decor products, paint and solar energy systems.
In his speech at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Bui Pham Khanh described the event as a good chance for domestic businesses and managers to further understand economic development, import-export and investment as well as the property market.
The firms could draw up suitable business strategies to better serve customers and contribute to the development of the local real estate market, he said.
Conferences on advanced green technology and products used in the construction industry, a business forum and exchanges between domestic and foreign businesses will also be held on the sidelines of the exhibition. — VNS
