HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Two-way trade between Viet Nam and Brazil in the first three quarters of this year hit US$1.66 billion, up 27 per cent over the same period last year and more than the whole of 2012.
Viet Nams exports to the Latin American country fetched almost $849 million, a year-on-year increase of 42 per cent, according to Brazils Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Imports totaled $809.6 million, up 14.2 per cent.Economic experts said two-way trade between the two countries this year was likely to surpass $2 billion for the first time.— VNS
