HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The two-way trade between Viet Nam and Brazil crossed US$490 million in the first two months of this year, up 122 per cent year-on-year, according to the General Department of Custom's statistics.
Of the total, Viet Nam's exports comprised $216 million, a yearly rise of 53 per cent, while its imports saw a significant increase of 244 per cent to reach $275 million.
Experts have forecast that the bilateral trade will likely reach $3 billion by the year end if further trade promotion programmes and business conferences in both countries were conducted.— VNS
