HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Vietnam Food Association (VFA) has adjusted the ceiling price of the country's rice exports from April 18.

The free-on-board price of the 25 per cent broken rice would be US$375 per tonne and it would be packed in 50-kilogram bags. The price difference between the other rice varieties would be decided by businesses.

Viet Nam plans to export approximately 200,000 tonnes of rice to the Philippines every month, from May to August.

The adjustment of the ceiling price was based on the rice prices in Viet Nam and in the world market, as well as on the pricing schemes of major rice exporters. — VNS
