The Vietnam Information Technology Museum, located at 89 Ngõ 41 Đông Tác, Đống Đa District, Hà Nội , is a unique project founded by Dr. Nguyễn Chí Công, one of the pioneers in Việt Nam's information technology sector. It is the first private museum dedicated to information technology in Vietnam, with the goal of preserving and showcasing rare artifacts and documents related to the history of IT development in the world and Việt Nam.

The museum currently houses nearly 1,000 artifacts, with about 300 on display. Dr. Nguyễn Chí Công shared that he is digitising the artifacts to build a virtual museum version using 3D technology, allowing viewers to tour remotely. Additionally, he plans to expand the exhibition to include artifacts from 2000 onwards, aiming to complete the story of IT development.

The museum is not only a repository of relics from a vibrant era in the IT industry but also a source of inspiration for young generations – those who will continue the dream of IT industrialisation that previous generations left unfinished.
With Dr. Nguyễn Chí Công's dedication and the community's contributions, the museum is becoming a unique cultural-educational destination, playing a crucial role in building a solid foundation for IT development in Việt Nam. — VNS
