HA NOI (Biz Hub) – Transcosmos Viet Nam Company Ltd. launched its contact centre and business process outsourcing (BPO) services for enterprises in Viet Nam on September 11.
At the opening ceremony held in the capital city, company officials revealed that Transcosmos Viet Nam was set up last March with headquarters here, and its business operations were launched last July.
With the establishment of Transcosmos Viet Nam, the company now owns 69 global business centres. In the ASEAN region, Viet Nam is the third country where Transcosmos is expanding its business, following Thailand and Indonesia.
"Transcosmos Viet Nam will be engaging in contact center and BPO services, with the understanding that Viet Nam is a market with an enormous growth potential in the future," Transcosmos Viet Nam President Komura Yohei said at the opening ceremony.
"At the same time, we will use Viet Nam's excellent human resources to offer off-shore services to the Japanese market," Yohei added. "Service quality, operational efficiency improvement and human resource development know-how will be localised to fit the Vietnamese market and aim at business expansion. In addition, we will proceed with the business development of Digital Marketing/One-Stop E-Commerce service, which targets the Vietnamese citizens' consumption growth."
"BPO services will initially be offered as off-shore services for the automobile, aircraft manufacturing and architectural and social infrastructure support industries," the company president revealed.
Transcosmos has so far provided its services to numerous Japanese companies, including Sony and Honda. "Transcosmos Viet Nam and 500 other Japanese companies invested in projects in Ha Noi, making Japan the largest foreign investor in the capital city so far," said Tran Duc Hoat, deputy director of the Ha Noi Planning and Investment Department.
"The capital city plans to attract more investments from Japan," Hoat added. "City authorities will co-operate with existing Japanese enterprises in offering a promotion programme that will attract the investments."
"Ha Noi will create favourable conditions for foreign investors to achieve its target in the investment sector," he remarked.
Komura also revealed that the company was collaborating with Ha Noi University's Japanese Language Department and other educational institutions in the recruitment of excellent local staff who were fluent in Japanese and could provide high-quality service to corporate clients in Japan.
Transcosmos Inc., the parent company, launched operations in 1966. Since then, it has combined superior human resources with up-to-date technological capabilities to enhance the competitive strength of its corporate clients by providing them with high value-added and superior services.
It provides overall IT outsourcing services to its corporate clients. These include call center, business process outsourcing and digital marketing services, offered either as stand-alone solutions or as combined services.
These services aim to optimise clients' marketing efficiencies and expand their sales, gain new customers for their E-Commerce businesses, improve their operational efficiency and reduce their operational costs in back office and information systems operations. These services were expanded globally, beyond Japan, and were now centered in Asia.
