Trade with Brazil tops $2 billion in 2013


Total trade between Viet Nam and Brazil was estimated to reach US$2.3 billion in 2013, including $1.1 billion coming from Vietnamese exports, according to the General Departments of Custom.

HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Total trade between Viet Nam and Brazil was estimated to reach US$2.3 billion in 2013, including $1.1 billion coming from Vietnamese exports, according to the General Departments of Custom.

Among Viet Nam's key export products to Brazil were seafood, footwear, computers and electronics, as well as textiles and garments.

Experts predict that bilateral trade with Brazil would likely top some $5 billion over the next five years, and $8-10 billion by 2020. — VNS
