HÀ NỘI — Leaders from Thái Bình Provincial People's Committee and FPT Group on February 27 convened to discuss potential collaborations in digital transformation and educational investment within the province.

FPT's CEO, Nguyễn Văn Khoa, expressed a strong interest in partnering with Thái Bình to enhance the local education system. He introduced two educational models including unischool, a comprehensive educational complex, and minischool, a smaller-scale institution.

To implement these models, FPT seeks favorable support policies from provincial leaders to jointly advance education in the area.

Beyond education,  Khoa proposed a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aimed at bolstering Thái Bình's socio-economic development. This strategy focuses on seven key areas: institutional policies, digital economy, digital government, digital society, digital human resources, digital data, and digital infrastructure. The goal is to establish a robust digital economy, smart governance, and improved quality of life for residents through technological advancements.

Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, acknowledged the shared objectives between the province and FPT. Hùng emphasised prioritising educational projects, particularly focusing on high school and vocational training. Recognising the substantial demand for vocational training in industrial zones, the provincial Department of Education and Training has been tasked with assessing and identifying vocational training needs for the 2025-2030 period. The aim is to develop appropriate plans ensuring that students secure employment immediately after completing their vocational training.

Regarding digital transformation, Chairman Hùng requested that FPT conduct on-site surveys and present specific proposals before implementation. He assured that the province would facilitate favorable conditions to ensure the success of these projects. — VNS
