Viet Nam’s exports were becoming more sophisticated with an impressive diversification of its export basket and increases in the shares of higher-value manufacturing exports, according to a recent World Bank’s report.
Viet Nam''s farming, fishery and forestry product export value in the
first 10 months of this year was estimated at US$24.6 billion, a
year-on-year reduction of 3.8 per cent.
Viet Nam saw a 2.8 per cent year-on-year reduction in the export value
of agricultural, fish-eries, and forestry products to record US$14.42
billion during the first half of 2015.
Viet Nam''s export turnover to Japan increased to US$13.65 billion in
2013, a spike of 4.5 per cent over the previous year, according to the
General Department of Customs.
