An anti-dumping duty between 25.73 per cent and 32.75 per cent would be imposed on sugar products imported from some of Thailand’s biggest sugar producers, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade on Tuesday will impose anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties on cane sugar originating from Thailand at an overall margin rate of 47.64 per cent.
This general department must strengthen management and inspection of market to prevent and strictly handle muggling and commercial fraud for sugar and sweetening products.
