The Vietnam Securities Depository (VSD) in August issued securities trading codes to 296 foreign investors, the highest recorded within eight months and down 8.6 per cent over the same period last year.
More than 350 foreign investors were granted securities trading codes in April, bringing the total number of foreign investors able to participate in the Viet Nam’s securities market to nearly 30,240.
About 190 foreign investors were granted securities trading codes in February, bringing the total number of foreign investors participating in Viet Nam’s securities market to 29,454, according to statistics of the Viet Nam Securities Depository (VSD).
