Fifteen members of the Viet Nam Automobile Manufacturers'' Association (VAMA) and Vietnam Car Importers'' Association (VIVA) will participate in the 2018 Viet Nam Motor Show in HCM City in October.
Vietnamese automakers and importers have been racing to reduce the price of many models in recent months ahead of the zero-tariff policy for car imports from ASEAN nations that goes into effect on January 1, 2018.
The Finance Ministry on Wednesday issued an order
amending the vehicle import tariff, in keeping with Viet Nam''s
commitment to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) on tax reduction.
The 9th Vietnam Motor Show on October 23-27 will showcase the latest
vehicle models, engines and advanced technologies, organisers announced
at a press conference on Tuesday in HCM City.
