Vietnam will provide free anti-phishing software for its people from July, heard a workshop on preventing cyber fraud held by the National Cybersecurity Association on May 13.
The Viettel Cyber Security Company (VSC), a subsidiary of the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group (Viettel), has become a member of the Anti-Phishing Working Group (APWG).
Kaspersky Lab said in the first quarter of 2018 its anti-phishing technologies prevented more than 3.6 million attempts to visit fraudulent social network pages, 60 per cent fake Facebook pages.
