Passenger volume through Vietnamese airports reached more than 81 million passengers in the ten months of 2022, with 100 million forecast for the whole year. In 2019, the number was 120 million.
The number of air passengers reached nearly 12 million, an increase of more than 40 per cent in July compared to pre-COVID, said the Civil Aviation Administration of Viet Nam (CAAV).
Vietnamese airports are estimated to have served 106 million passengers and handled nearly 1.5 million tonnes of cargo during 2018, up 12.9 per cent and 7.7 per cent year-on-year respectively, reported the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV).
