Vietnamese expatriates living abroad will remit roughly US$2.5 billion
to HCM City in 2016''s final quarter, deputy director of the State Bank
of Viet Nam''s HCM City branch Nguyen Hoang Minh estimates.
Viet Nam is considering changing the amended Housing Law, which is now
under discussion, to make it easier for foreigners and Vietnamese
expatriates to buy houses in the country.
World Bank forecast Viet Nam''s overseas remittances attraction this
year would hit US$11 billion, bringing the country to the 9th position
in top 10 countries in the world.
