Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on May 17 (local time) attended the US-Viet Nam trade, investment and tourism promotion conference themed ‘Rediscovering Viet Nam’ in San Francisco.
Trade between Viet Nam and the US has seen impressive growth over the last 25 years, with more and more American businesses being interested in partnering with their Vietnamese counterparts and investing in the country.
Opportunities to export to the US and the US requirements for imported
food and pharmaceuticals were discussed during a seminar held in Ha Noi
on Monday.
The fastest and shortest route to the US market was through retail
channels, an official said at a seminar on exporting to the US held in
HCM City yesterday.
