HCM City needs to speed up equitisation of its 39 State-owned enterprises over the course of this year and next, Le Thanh Liem, deputy chairman of its People''s Committee, said.
Standing Vice Chairman of the HCM City’s People Committee Le Thanh Liem on Monday discussed measures to promote bilateral co-operation, particularly economic, with minister and secretary general of the presidency of the Ivory Coast, Achi Patrick.
The Viet-Pan Techno Park in HCM City has served as a model for similar projects to lure foreign investors from Japan and other countries to the city, said Vice Standing Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Thanh Liem.
A delegation of more than 70 German enterprises operating in the
automobile industry, manufacturing technology, communications, finance
and insurance visited HCM City to seek investment opportunities in the
southern hub.
