Tuna exports are expected to top US$1 billion this year, up $350 million from last year, according to the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers.
The Viet Nam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) on Monday submitted a proposal to the Government to renegotiate the high import duty on Vietnamese tuna products in Japan.
Tuna exports are expected to increase by 8 per cent this year to US$524 million, according to the Viet Nam Association of Seafood Producers and Exporters.
