Việt Nam’s tea industry needs to focus on enhancing quality, diversifying product offerings and building brands to develop in a sustainable way, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
Vu Thi Thanh Hanh, general manager of Learth Viet Nam Co.Ltd, said sales of her company’s VietJoy leaf tea products were very good three months after they entered the Singaporean market.
Viet Nam exported 77,000 tonnes of tea during the past seven months,
earning a turnover of US$120 million, according to the Ministry of
Agriculture and Rural Development.
