In October, Việt Nam shipped 7,260 tonnes of rubber to Malaysia, generating US$11.47 million in revenue, marking an impressive year-on-year increase of 861 per cent in volume and 1,240 per cent in value.
Exports of rubber goods to Russia witnesses an impressive result of a 465 per-cent growth year-on-year in the first half, totalling nearly US$5.1 million.
However, the Vietnamese rubber market share is shrinking here, while the market shares of Indonesia, China, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Singapore tend to increase.
The selling price of rubber experienced a period of strong fluctuations in the second quarter when it recovered in June and then decreased rapidly in July.

Viet Nam exported 486,000 tonnes of rubber worth US$817 million in the first four months of 2021, up 79.6 per cent in volume and 111.6 per cent in value compared to the same period last year.
Viet Nam earned US$220 million from shipping 175,000 tonnes of rubber abroad in January, up 10.8 per cent in value and 28.9 per cent in volume compared to the same month last year.
