The National Center for Socio-Economic Information and Forecast (NCIF) on Wednesday launched a workshop assessing the Top 500 Vietnamese largest private enterprises (VPE500).
Many private enterprises said they want to invest in building renewable energy infrastructure, but Việt Nam still lacks mechanisms to encourage private enterprises to participate in this activity.
Barriers in the business environment must be removed to promote the development of private enterprises, which is considered a push for post-pandemic economic growth, experts said.
Vietnamese enterprises have the potential to participate in regional and global production value chains on par with the leading countries in ASEAN, because Viet Nam has been a top priority choice of multinational corporations.
International economic integration has expanded to Viet Nam so the
development of domestic resources, including our private enterprises, is
required urgently. Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh spoke to the Vietnam News Agency about those issues.
Traditional markets managed by private enterprises and co-operatives in
the Cuu Long (Mekong) Delta and south-eastern Viet Nam are thriving
after receiving special treatment from the Government.
