China has overtaken the US to become Viet Nam’s largest importer as of January 2018, accounting for 77 per cent of the country’s export market, official statistics show.
The Netherlands has emerged as Viet Nam’s largest importer in the European Union (EU), with an annual export growth rate of 18-25 per cent in recent years.
Viet Nam is the only country to have achieved impressive export-import
growth in 2015 among the 30 leading export-import economies of the World
Trade Organisation (WTO).
